Hi, I’m Dani Valkova.

My edge sits at the intersection of interactive music systems, game audio production, and psychoacoustics: I design music and sound strategies that shape user behaviour.

I’m an audio director, composer, and interactive music systems designer with over 30 credits across games, live interactive experiences, and immersive media. My work spans Riot Games, Garena, Google, Taito, Meta, and other global brands, with projects ranging from shipped mobile and browser games to large-scale live audience experiences driven by player input in real time.

What sets me apart is the combination of creative, technical, and production leadership. I build music systems around state logic, pacing, transitions, and player behaviour; lead vendors and collaborators from brief through delivery; and make sure the final audio works in the real constraints of implementation, platform, and production.

Alongside my industry work, I’ve spent years researching how sound shapes attention, emotion, and behaviour. That foundation in psychoacoustics informs everything I do: creating audio that is not only expressive, but responsive and deeply tied to the player experience.
